New Play Buddies
We found three new play pals! Jinghong, Jingling, and Teck Yong.
They came running up to us as Mommy was bringing us on a walk-walk and stopped us in our tracks. Teck Yong insisted on petting us and Jinghong wanted to follow us home with Mommy!
So they followed Mommy to buy tau huay from across the road (which is also the block that Jinghong and Teck Yong stay in) then back to our flat. They watched as Mommy wiped our dirty feet clean, then they each went dutifully to the bathroom to wash their own feet! They had to, because they had been running barefoot around the grass patch outside McDonalds! Kampung kids! Woof!!
They all sat around in the kitchen and played with us. Mommy let them each carry one of us and took pictures. Silly kids! They kept wanting to find new ways to play with us. Like, Teck Yong always wanted to throw my ball, and I got very excited playing fetch. But Teck Yong was too scared to take the ball from me after I fetched, so he made Mommy take it from me each time and give it to him. Silly skinny boy! I won't bite you, you're not tasty enough! Woof!
Jingling is their cousin. All three are such independent kids. Only 9, 10 and 12 years old. But running around on their own during the day. Today, they waited two hours from 11am till they saw us for someone to pick them up to go to City Harvest. But their ride never turned up.
Good thing they came home with us, because they had not had lunch! Woof! Mommy let Jingling cook instant noodles (because Mommy does not keep much food at home since she and Daddy always eat out; the only food in abundance is Dog Food!). Woof!
Then they snacked on chocolates and watched TV. Finally, Daddy locked us in the kitchen and told the kids they had to go home, because Daddy and Mommy were going out for lunch. The kids wanted their telephone numbers, so Daddy gave them his (incoming free!). Mommy took down their telephone numbers as well.
Funny kids! Before they left, they wanted to take Mommy's monopoly set home with them! But Mommy put her foot down and said no. They can come over to play, but the set belongs at home.
I shall post some pictures later of us with the skinny kids! Woof!!
