Woah Momma!!

Mommy finally brought us for a walk just now! Yay! It was nice and cool and we had a nice walk.

Silly Snowie insisted on coming along, even though she JUST GAVE BIRTH THIS MORNING. Unbelieveable, this funny dog she is. She was so excited that she jumped right out of her crate and rushed to the door, even though Mommy tried to remind her about her babies by saying, "where's babies, where's babies". Snowie would just rush to and fro between her babies and the door, but finally decided she wanted to walk more!

Mommy found it very funny.

But halfway through, before we even walked 50 dog-paces, Snowie started to get worried and kept wanting to go back. But Mommy kept saying Let's Go! So we kept going! But we didn't go far before Snowie kept trying to run back. She suddenly remembered her babies!

So Mommy brought us all back up again, wiped Snowie's feet and body, then let her back into the kitchen. Snowie was so funny! She was so anxious to get back to her sleeping babies, she kept sticking her head into the grill gate.

Then Mommy brought us down again to finish our walk. Good Mommy! Clever Mommy!

Then we came back up and settled down for the night. But Snowie had a nasty surprise for us all. It was noxious.

First came a loud sputtering pooo-pooo-poooot-pooo-pooo-poooot-pooo-pooo-poooot. It was so loud that even Mommy heard it from the living room and popped her head round to see what was up. It was Snowie! Releasing very stinky black watery poop!

*Buries head under rug and covers nose with both paws*

Snowie had lots of icky stinky poop. Must have been all that crap she had to eat from the babies this morning. The poop even had the intact placenta she swallowed after it got expelled together with the third (stillborn) puppy. It was green and wobbly! GRWWOSSSS!!!!!

Yahoo! New Playthings for Kobi!!

Kobi was very glad when Mommy woke up this morning! Because Snowie was doing something scary! Snowie was popping out funny little things and acting very strange and busy!

Poppy and Kobi were nervous about everything. Poppy and Kobi sat by the kitchen gate and waited for Mommy to come see what Snowie was doing. Mommy was very excited when Mommy saw what Snowie was doing and quickly called Daddy.

Woo! Kobi was very happy to have both Daddy and Mommy up so early in the kitchen! Play play with Kobi! Yay!

But Mommy and Daddy did not really pay much attention to Kobi and were more interested in boring Snowie! Reow! Reow-reow!!

Then Mommy went out without bringing Kobi for walk walk! Reow! Reow-reow!! REOW!!!

But at least Daddy stuck around in the kitchen for a while longer.

When Snowie finally settled down, Kobi went to check it out. Reow! Reow-reow!! There are four small and furry wriggly things!! Reow! Reow-reow!!

There's one that is not wriggling. Daddy put him in Kobi's crate! Reow! Reow-reow!! Reow! Reow-reow!! Don't Daddy!! Kobi does not like to have the smell of not-wriggly thing on Kobi's rug. Tis not a nice smell Daddy!!

Later in the afternoon, Kobi was happy again. Coz Mommy came home and played with Kobi. But Mommy spent more time checking out the new wriggly things. Reow! Reow-reow!! Bring Kobi for walk walk Mommy!! Reow! Reow-reow!!

Woof! Kobi was happy again because Mommy poured out milk! What's the special occasion? Milk! Slurp slurp slurp! Kobi loves milk!!

Heyyyyy!! Why are you pulling Kobi away Mommy!! Kobi wants milk!!! Heyy don't give it to Snowie!! Why does Snowie get lunch in bed? Reow! Reow-reow!!

Nevermind. Kobi can lick Kobi's paws. Kobi has lots of milk on Kobi's paws and all around the kitchen floor, because just now, Kobi was a messy milk drinker! Slurp slurp!!

Ha ha! Mommy has put the milk dish down again. Kobi will make it clean clean. Kobi is the dishwasher and vacuum cleaner of the family! Don't miss a spot! Not even under the dish! Reow! Slurp! Reow-reow!!

And four more make Seven!!

Snowie gave birth to five new puppies today. Snowie started in the morning, just before Mommy got up. Mommy quickly woke Daddy up to watch and snapped some pictures before she had to get ready for her interview. Mommy almost wanted to cancel the interview to stay back to watch and help Snowie, but Snowie knows what to do, and didn't need Mommy's help this time.

Snowie was very sad when the third baby was stillborn. Even though Snowie licked it many many times, the baby did not move. Baby's was not ready to be born, but Baby's other siblings wanted to come out. Snowie was very sad. Daddy took Baby and put Baby in the next crate while Snowie gave birth to two more babies. After all the babies were born, Snowie kept looking at Baby and licking him, but he did not move.

When Mommy came back in the afternoon, Mommy and Daddy put dead Baby in a plastic bag and put it down the chute. This helped Snowie to forget about Baby and soon Snowie could concentrate on loving her other babies.

Afterwards, Snowie was very hungry and thirsty. Good thing Mommy knew and gave Snowie milk. Snowie drank a lot of milk today. Finished the whole packet. Snowie had to pee a lot today. Many swimming pools of pee pee.

Snowie loves her four new babies! Babies are very precious!! Snowie has two fattie babies and two skinny small babies. Three boys and one girl. All are healthy and strong and love to drink milk!

New Play Buddies

We found three new play pals! Jinghong, Jingling, and Teck Yong.

They came running up to us as Mommy was bringing us on a walk-walk and stopped us in our tracks. Teck Yong insisted on petting us and Jinghong wanted to follow us home with Mommy!

So they followed Mommy to buy tau huay from across the road (which is also the block that Jinghong and Teck Yong stay in) then back to our flat. They watched as Mommy wiped our dirty feet clean, then they each went dutifully to the bathroom to wash their own feet! They had to, because they had been running barefoot around the grass patch outside McDonalds! Kampung kids! Woof!!

They all sat around in the kitchen and played with us. Mommy let them each carry one of us and took pictures. Silly kids! They kept wanting to find new ways to play with us. Like, Teck Yong always wanted to throw my ball, and I got very excited playing fetch. But Teck Yong was too scared to take the ball from me after I fetched, so he made Mommy take it from me each time and give it to him. Silly skinny boy! I won't bite you, you're not tasty enough! Woof!

Jingling is their cousin. All three are such independent kids. Only 9, 10 and 12 years old. But running around on their own during the day. Today, they waited two hours from 11am till they saw us for someone to pick them up to go to City Harvest. But their ride never turned up.

Good thing they came home with us, because they had not had lunch! Woof! Mommy let Jingling cook instant noodles (because Mommy does not keep much food at home since she and Daddy always eat out; the only food in abundance is Dog Food!). Woof!

Then they snacked on chocolates and watched TV. Finally, Daddy locked us in the kitchen and told the kids they had to go home, because Daddy and Mommy were going out for lunch. The kids wanted their telephone numbers, so Daddy gave them his (incoming free!). Mommy took down their telephone numbers as well.

Funny kids! Before they left, they wanted to take Mommy's monopoly set home with them! But Mommy put her foot down and said no. They can come over to play, but the set belongs at home.

I shall post some pictures later of us with the skinny kids! Woof!!

Hello Janice!!

Reow! Reow-reow!!

Kobi is grateful to Janice the small-girl intern from Mommy's office, for reminding Mommy about our blog! Now we are allowed broadband access again. Mommy banned us because nottie Pop was surfing doggie porn last time.

Quick update since 3Q04. Kobi has learned new human words. Kobi can now say:
when headbutting Snowie during walks: Abba! Abba! (that's like... Hebrew for 'Father'? Yesh, Kobi knows. Barking up the wrong tree, but Kobi's limited vocal cords don't let him pronounce Hebrew for Mother)
and when challenging with Poppy for Alpha Male status: Rare! Rare! (how do you like your steak Kobi? Rare! Rare!)

When too excited and eager to go for walks, Kobi makes funny crowing sounds like a chicken gargling with Listerine. Coincidentally, it's the Year of the Rooster! Posted by Hello
